Weekend Recap 1/9/11- 1/15/11

Ephraim- This was a rough week in the Catlett house. We discovered that some Asthma Medication that Ephraim was on was making him have uncontrollable mood swings and he has become very aggressive. This was a bad week for it as it was TaeKwonDo testing (video to come later after I learn how to use our new camera). His mood swing reared its ugly head and he refused to say "yes sir" resulting in a no change on his belt rank. This was devistating to watch as I know how hard he has worked in the last 4 months to have the right to test. He has learned a valuable lesson and I guess that is what is important. On a good note he is no longer on this medication and he is already starting to turn back into his regular sweet self.

Delilah- Tested for her blue belt this last week and on Saturday during her belt ceremony she was awarded it. She was very proud of herself as were we. She has also proved to be a very good mommy to her little companion Rose. She is very good at feeding and cleaning up after her. She also spends tons of time with her.

Rebekah- Tested for her blue belt (Permanent Rank) and was surprised (as were we) when she was awarded her Permanent Rank Purple Belt. This has to be decided by an unanimous vote of 4 black belts. It is amazing how fast she has progressed in TaeKwonDo. She has taken to it like a fish takes to water.

Chet and Audra- After dealing with the kids all week, we decided we were in much need of a date night. One of our new year resolutions is to go out once a month and to try new restaurant. Here is the recap of our evening.

We started our evening at Phil's BBQ in San Marcos. We ate on their patio. It was amazing and so yummy. Not a place we would take the kids but it was fun for just the two of us.Then we went to drool over new TVs for our bedroom at Fry's. We saw some we liked but nothing that we loved.
We ended our night at Jerome's. We our looking for a new couch to turn our room that has no purpose into a tv room for the kids. On a plus side we found a couch that we loved for a price that we loved. We hope to purchase it in the next month. WooHoo. Well it was no broadway plays for us we did enjoy our time away from the kids. Thanks mom for watching them for us.

Well that was just some highlights from our week. It was much more jam packed then that but I can't remember everything. Tata for now.
