The Olympics :)

I love watching the Olympics every 4 years. It makes you want to watch them more and more each time they compete. This year, the people that are competing are really good. They are competing in London. :). U.S.A. so far has been really good, but that was only the qualifying rounds.

Greece, Sweden, Italy, America, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, and Spain all compete in the summer Olympic Games every 4 years. :). Every 4 years they come back stronger, better, and prepared. It is amazing to watch the Olympics because it is neat to see what these amazing people can do.

My favorite part about the summer Olympics is the gymnastics and the diving. The diving is really cool because they do all of these really cool tricks into the water. I also think it is really cool because the dive with a partner, so, they have to do the exact same thing at the exact same time.

I also love watching the gymnastics part of the Olympics. It is really cool to see these people do vault, balance beam, bars, and floor routines. My favorite part in gymnastics is... Well... Everything! :)

I think the best water sport to watch is the rowing. It looks so easy. But, it actually isn't. It looks really cool because they are moving so fast with only 2-6 people. It's amazing. =^).  Another good sport I think is really think is cool is 400m Women's Freestyle. One of the people on the U.S.A. team broke a world record. (WR) Pretty cool Right???   '=^)

New Day= Refreshing

When it's a Monday, or what ever day you start the week with, it gives you a new start. It gives you a new start because its a new week. I'm having a great summer so far. What about you?

On Monday and Tuesday, we rested at home. We didn't get to do anything fun because we were fighting on Sunday. On Wednesday, we went to the beach with our friends. Those friends were Hillary and Isabella and their friend, and Jenna and Cassie. Thursday, my mom had a meeting. Friday, today, it was drizzling. But lucky me, there was no thunder or lighting.

The Beach Days

This is the exact jellyfish.

We went to the beach yesterday and today. Yesterday, we went to the beach. When we went on Thursday, all we did was jump waves, sit, and burn to a crisp. I buried Delilah. She kept saying that she had to go to the bathroom. At one point, she said that she was sitting in her own bathroom. That was very disgusting.

When we went to the beach today, the waves we HUGE! I had to swim up waves because I couldn't jump high enough. I got 2+ wipe outs. I went boogie boarding. The only time that I actually went to shore on the boogie board was when the last wave came. At the end of that wave, it started going up and down and spinning me around on the boogie board. Then, Delilah got stung by a jellyfish. There were a lot of jellyfish on shore today. 1/3 of the beach got stung by a jellyfish. It was... Strange. I wonder why they were all close to shore to get swooped in by the waves and... Die.

A Week of Magic

So, its been a week since my last post. Sorry about that. I have a lot to talk about.

Wednesday: On Wednesday, I did tae-kwon-do. Over the summer, one of my instructors, Mr. Vargas, is teaching over at Heritage Charter. That's where I do martial arts. Its really fun. Only one more belt testing! Wow...

After tae-kwon-do, we played outside. I rode my scooter. I rode my scooter around the block and around the neighborhood. Exciting...

Thursday: We went to the pool! My brother will actually get inside the pool! Very impressive, Ephraim. Then we played outside.

Friday: I went to the Del Mar Fair with Sarah. The fair has some awesome rides. The rides I went on were:

     - Alien Abduction
     - Disko
     - Crazy Mouse
     - M.J.
     - Bumper Cars
     - Cover Cars
     - Sky Flyer
     - Storm
     - Tilt-A-Whirl

The rides were amazing! Then I spent the night at Sarah's.

Saturday: I spent the day outside all day! It was fun, getting fresh air.

Sunday: I spent the day outside.

Monday: I did martial arts. We have to do these squats, and they really hurt my knees. I do them anyways for the strength. We do... 4 different types of squats.

Tuesday: I had to go to the doctor. I had this rash on my nose, but, it turned out it was a little infection. After we went to the doctor, we went swimming. I taught Sarah and Ephraim how to float on their backs. It took Sarah longer to learn then Ephraim did. Funny right?

Wednesday: Today, I have tae-kwon-do. I will blog later today about what we did in class.

That is what I did while I wasn't blogging.

Way Cool Wednesday

This is similar to mine.
Today I got my demo gi! A gi is a Tae-Kwon-Do uniform. My demo gi is black and red. My belt is black and red so I match. It was fun because we aren't allowed to wear them during normal class, but today, since they were brand new and everyone was so so so excited, Mr. Policio, my instructor, let us wear them for today. I felt like I had to walk like a stick figure because they were brand new. Brand new gi's= stiff gi's.

Tall Waves Tuesday

I went to the beach today with Sarah and my family. The waves were huge because it was a full moon, so the waves were really huge. We kept jumping the waves and sometimes, they were so huge that after I jumped, I had to swim up and over the waves just to barely make it over. We had a really good time.

Right before my mom got home, she stopped at three stores to get a boogie board and some sand toys. THANK YOU, MOM! We buried my brother and my sister. I kept burying my feet. At one point there was so much sand/mud on my feet that Sarah and Delilah sat on my feet, and I didn't feel a thing.
