Last month my mom and I decided to take the kids down to old town. I had never been before. It was a great day. They were having a festival for Mexican Independance day and the kids I made corn husk dolls at one of the booths. We went to all sorts of little shops, in one I made my own dipped candle, and then we ate lunch and had fabulous mexican food. All in all it was a great day.

Look at those beautiful kids in the beautiful San Diego weather! I vaguely remember a field trip to Old Town Junior year of HS for AP History. I think we were supposed to complete an assignment, but you know how field trip assignments go =). I'm so jealous you got to eat Mexican food - I have yet to find a good place out here. Miss you guys!!!
