I love the end of summer because it always ends with me having a week off. I try to take the kids to do all the fun stuff that they miss out on the rest of the summer since I have to work. For my kids that means frequent trips to the pool. Unfortunately for my kids that just did not happen. A week before vacation I tripped walking up the steps to my house and fractured my wrist :( After three doctors (2 saying no cast), the specialist put a pretty green cast on which meant no pool for me, thus no pool for my kiddos :(. We did get to go to the aquarium and the children's pool and see the seals with my mom and they really enjoyed that.
Today school started. I was so excited! I love the routine that the school year brings. The kids all loved school today and had nothing but great things to say. Here are a few pictures from their day.
