Good Bye 2010

2010 seems like a blur. It seems like we are always doing something, going somewhere, or getting ready to go somewhere. Here is a little recap of some of the things we did this year.

Ephraim- Graduated from preschool, started kindergarten (which he loves), tested and earned his yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do, become a real class clown, and is just a real joy to have around all the time.

Delilah- Started 2nd grade and is doing so well, earned her yellow, gold, and green belts in Tae Kwon Do, loves Girl Scouts (she is a Brownie), continues to love art and does it as much as she can, loves to read, has such a huge heart that she is now sharing with her very own pet cockatiel Rose. Delilah is such a sweet little girl that just loves to please everyone all the time.

Rebekah- made the difficult decision to give up cheerleading (she suffered a knee injury that will not heal), she earned her gold and green belt in Tae Kwon Do, in keeping with her give 110% attitude she also is in Jr Leadership (TaeKwon Do) where she is learning how to teach the younger kids and spends two days a week teaching, is working on her Bronze award in girl scouts, is doing well in 5th grade, turned the big 1-0. All in all, Rebekah is growing into an amazing young woman who I love to hang out with.

Chet and Audra- We started 2010 having to say good- bye to Chet's uncle Brian. It was very sudden and was very difficult. We still miss him and talk about him all the time. Chet continues to enjoy his job in IT. We are so lucky that he has such a good job with such great benefits. Audra still works at the Preschool and enjoys being around all the little ones. She also started volunteering every Sunday at the Escondido Humane Society (she has had to learn that she can't bring any home with her), she is also enjoying a life outside of cheer, she is the troop leader for Delilah's girl scouts and pretty much just a chauffer for all the kids activities.

2010 was a busy year, here are somethings that we are looking forward to in 2011 (resolutions of sorts)

Ephraim- is going to play baseball for the first time
Delilah- work on staying focused and getting things done (be responsible)
Rebekah- read more (she hates to read)
Audra- Be present in life
Chet- Relax more and enjoy his time at home
