This weekend I decided to surprise my kids with a "train" ride. We rode the Sprinter all the way to Oceanside and then walked and had lunch at Ruby's on the Pier. Then we walked and rode the Sprinter back. It was so much fun. It is such a cheap day and we were able to spend 45 minutes on the Sprinter there and 45 minutes on the Sprinter home just enjoying each others company and talking. It was great to catch up with the kids since we have all been so busy with school, work, sports, and life. Sometimes it is nice to just relax all together:)

These pictures are so cute...Did you get your new camera? What a fun day. I'm sure the kids loved spending the day with mom and dad.
What a great way to spend a family day. Looks like the kids had a blast.
We took the kids for the Sprinter ride too. Since my kids are huge Thomas the Train fans, they we SO stoked! Sounds like you guys had a great family day!
