Vegas Baby

So last weekend Chet, Bekah, and I made a trip to Vegas for Bekah to compete with her team at the Jamz Nationals. It was a lot of fun. Bekah enjoyed the freedom she was granted by running around our hotel with the other kids by herself, no worries mom's I could hear her from our balcony and we were not at a casino. Bekah would text me to let me know who's room she was in, she thought that was the coolest thing ever. This was just about the busiest weekend ever. Friday night she had practice and then dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe then it was time to curl her hair and off to bed. Saturday, Bekah had team breakfast, make-up, warm-ups, competing, bowling and cheering on her team mates who did an individual. She was in bed at 10. Sunday, up at 7 for team breakfast, make-up, a three hour limo ride around Vegas, competing, dinner, and then awards. After cheer I took her out with some friends to see Vegas (at 10 at night), in bed at midnight, then we drove home at 7:30 in the morning. Bekah did great in her routine, she dropped her stunt and was devestated but we are all so proud of her. The team took home third place out of 5. There was some tough competiton and we are looking forward to the last two competitions of the season. And mom and dad are looking forward to the season to be over to take a break for a few months before it starts all over again. Here are some pictures of our fun for you to enjoy.

She looks so grown up! Can you point out which one she is in the video?

I could try, she is all over the place. During the first time all the kids are int he air she tumbles to the front on the right side, then she tumbles off to the side on the right. After that it is too hard to explain because she is all over the place.

I didn't even notice that she has her cell phone. It had become such a staple to her that I rarely see her without it. She can even text faster then me know. It is crazy how fast some kids grow up.
